The technological evolution in the agricultural sector made, during years, enormous steps, relieving workers’ job remarkably also at a professional level.
As often happens, the will of improving brings the employment of products that strongly clashes with Nature and its laws, causing sharp problems in the ecological environment.
Nowadays is becoming stronger a type of scientific research nearer to the ecological problems, diffusing the development of biological cultivations and the utilization of products that are both very effective and protecting nature, and following this line was born “ECORELLA”.
It is a product proceeding from a wooden fibres panel, realized without the add of any bonding agent, but obtained by the felt formation of chestnut wooden fibres, compacted by the thermomechanical action of a press. Its final structure is remarkably resistant both on the physical and the mechanical sides, and at the same time it maintains a biodegradability time very short when it’s covered with some earth.

“ECORELLA LEGAFILO”
It is a thread-bonder hook very easy to use, with a lot of different possible applications; it allows to keep in tension two parallel threads. The classical use is in vine growing, in which keeping vine-branches linked is essential, but it can be used also in many other cultivations characterized by a strong vegetation, as big peas, potatoes, capsicums, aubergines.
It lasts for one year, and at the end of its utilisation it can be left in the ground where, after mixing with, it will quickly become a fertilizer.
It as a very nice looking, but this is not for an aesthetical aim: its gorge on the top allows an easier breaking of itself at the moment of the late-season works.
ECORELLA LEGAFILO is the right compromise between Usefulness, Resistance, Effectiveness, Biodegradability an Ecology.
Ecorella Legafio is the only completely BIOLOGICAL, BIODEGRADABLE, long-lasting product with fibers natural wood without the addition of adhesives and chemical products, which is resistant to UV rays
As you can see from the drawing, “Ecorella Legafilo” is designed for all processes involving the espalier system. The most striking example is the vineyard where it already found a wide use in continued development. Other crops also have the need to hold branches contain fruits or vegetables or their development that sometimes looks very vigorous. Some examples are the pepper, tomato, eggplant, bean, pea giant. For these types of crops, the efficiency is much higher than if the crops are produced in greenhouses, where containment of the vegetation is paramount and without compromising the development and fruiting.
Product
The hook “Ecorella Legafilo” is a product completely biodegradable as it is exclusively made of natural wood pressed, without the use of any of the binders and / or synthetic glues. The adhesion of the wood fibers to each other occurs according to the components “pressure, temperature and time” which together, transform the lignins and the intrinsic hemicellulose of the wood, in a very effective natural glue, so that the result is the obtaining of the density of which panels is next to 1000 Kg / cmq with really considerable physical and mechanical characteristics.
